DJ, producer, emcee and radio personality for over 27 years, Alex Peace has left his DNA embedded in the growth of Electronic Music in Chicago and is as much a part of the city’s illustrious house history as he is in reshaping it’s changing future. He has written & performed one of the most recognizable and sampled acapellas, “Bringin’ The Funk” and is a pioneer of the Chicago hard house movement. Through his work with legendary Chicago label Underground Construction, Alex created a number of defining hard house anthems including a #1 single with Donna Blakely, “Take Me Up”.

Those days were the groundwork for what has become a vast catalog of solo and collaboration work with some of the most prestigious names in house music, Artists such as Bad Boy Bill, CZR, Hatiras, label appearances on Subliminal, Stealth, Ministry Of Sound, CR2 and recent appearances on Guesthouse, Mixmash, Confession and Spinnin’ Records.

While this multi-dimensionality has continually defined Alex, it’s what’s stayed the same that makes him a true original. He continues to sustain longevity by maintaining a consistent DJ schedule of over 100 gigs annually, running a new label, Tru Musica with partner Brian Boncher and all while staying on top of the Traxsource Charts with original music and vocal appearances.
