Brian Boncher produces tracks as himself and with others under aliases “Rubb Sound System” and “Midnight Dubbers”. His first full length remix album with Rees Urban “Rubb Down” by Rubb Sound System held the #1 spot on the Traxsource best seller chart for three months straight. To him, making music is a passion, not about following trends. He currently manages the Tru Musica record label with his partner Martin EZ. If you want to know what his music sounds like then listen! Brian Boncher is a guy who likes to be on the floor. Finding a connection with the people dancing is the most important part of what he does. Brian evaluates the time, place, and environment while selecting tracks during his set. He has a unique talent for playing outdoor parties that make up a good amount of his yearly gig schedule.
When he’s not in the studio or playing shows he’s spending time teaching students production skills at IV ThinkLab, a certified Ableton training school in Chicago.
